Once Upon A Time…in 2004…

A boy and a girl were sitting in a computer lab, when they turned to each other and asked “Is the internet working for you?”  The girl had never noticed that the boy was in class because she always sat in front and he always sat in back.  Since the internet wasn’t working that day, they spent the next 2 hours in the library talking.

A couple months later on July 4, 2004, the boy gave the girl a note and a box. Inside the box was a stuffed turtle from Finding Nemo and a Magic 8 ball.  The note explained why the boy chose those specific gifts, and then asked the girl if she would be his girlfriend. On July 8, 2004, the Magic 8 ball finally said “Yes”.  

Over the next 12 years, the boy and the girl went on many adventures together, but the place they always returned to every year was Disneyland.  It was there that the boy and girl went on their first adventure together, and since then have spent many hours in line talking about building a life together.

One early morning, on a beach in Hawaii, the boy knelt down on the sand before the girl and brought out another box.  The girl immediately said “Yes” and they watched their first sunrise as fiancees. 

On October 8, 2016, we are excited for you to join us as we write the next chapter in this story as the boy and girl become man and wife.
